Hi everyone,
So this is our first attempt at blogging so bare with me! :) I meant to post much earlier but Rileyann keeps us very busy... but lets start out!
Rileyann was born on April 23rd 2010 at 7:38 pm after a long day of being at the hospital! Rileyann was being stubborn and was waiting for her Grandma to get home from a business trip before wanting to make her appearence dispite her Aunt Lindsey yelling at her to come out! We had a lot of support that day with Aunt Lindsey and Gigi keeping us company and keeping both Patrick and I entertained! Rileyann was born via-csection due to the cord being wrapped around her several times! But it was a pretty calm event and it was great to finally get to meet her!
We had lots of visitors while at the hospital and a lot of support once we finally got home!! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!
Rileyann is now 9 1/2 weeks old and is getting closer to 10lbs every day. She is our little nugget as her Aunt Lindsey named her...she's small boned according to her Gigi (great-grandma Murray). We went for our 2 month check up and Rileyann is doing great she was 9lbs 2 oz and 20 1/2 in long. She got her shots and was such a little trooper it bothered us more than her!
We also had a couple of visits from Rileyann's Uncle Chris, Aunt Emily, cousin Jacob Memorial Day weekend and had such a blast! We had so much fun seeing the differences between Jake and Rileyann! Rileyann even tried to steal Jake's pacifier at one point..she's no pushover! :)
A few weeks later Grandma and Grandpa Sommer got to come up and meet Rileyann which was so much fun! Grandma really spoiled us with all the extra help! THANK YOU!!
So here are some things Rileyann really loves to do:
1.) Cuddle with Momma
2.) Crawl up on Daddy and pull out his chest hair
3.) Bath time...we love the water and getting out makes us very very mad!
4.) playing on her new play mat! it's got lots of fun colors and animals!
5.) Smiling and making new faces!!
6.) grossing out my uncle bobby by pooping while he's holding me!
Things Rileyann is not such a fan of!
1.) getting my nose cleaned out
2.) having to wait for a bottle when I am hungry
3.) getting my diaper changed~
